The sun is shining

yippie - the sun is shining - I have taken off my big winter jumper - I have even put the 'mug hugs' away for the summer.  Still got a big cardi on though ;-)

I have found a wonderful new medium to add to your projects.  It cuts wonderfully - does not fray - has loads of different textures and colours - patterns and effects.

I made a couple of samples - I die cut  2 heart shapes and sewed them together with a bit of padding to make the shape.  You can sew it with the sewing machine - or by hand with a big needle.  I think this makes a super cute little bag charm

 For this one I die cut one of those spiral flowers and inked the edges.  You can't always curl the edges like you can with paper - but it still makes a great flower - and it would make some great depth when you mix it in with the traditional curled papers ones.

Oh - I forgot to tell you - I picked up a whole, huge, book of roller blind samples - they are just amazing
