Something different - patchwork

This is a bit different.  I have discovered fat quarters and have been quietly doing a bit of patchwork.  I took my sewing machine to my little flat - there is space there and I can have it on the table and actually use it.  Funny how I the first thing I do when I have a bit of spaca and order is go back to sewing.

This is my first attempt at patchwork with shapes like this - it's quite a big centre piece for my dining table.  I can even have a table cloth at the flat - and mats - and eat dinner properly!!!!

I am so chuffed with it - I got the pattern free from Passion 4 Quiliting - they have loads of insperation
