The new Martha Stuart Embossing Glitter caught my eye the other week - it is soooo sparkly - but I was hesitant as I did not know how it would look - and if it really would be that sparkly!!
Well - we used it in class this week - and yes it really is that glittery ;-)
This is the card we made with it
The baubles are a Woodware Clear Magic outline stamp and heat embossed with the turquoise Martha Stuart embossing glitter - on a pearly scrapbook paper and coloured with Sakura Gelly Roll Stardust Glitter in green.
It is a fantastic effect
Couple of tips for using the embossing glitter - there is a higher proportion of glitter than normal in the melting powder so -
- make sure that the ink you stamp with is really wet for the mix to stick to
- have your heat gun on the lowest setting - or heat from underneath - otherwise the glitter will blow away before the mix melts.
There are some really yummie colours - and they are not great, big, huge pots - sooo I may just have to do a bit more stamping!
