Jinny is a former, kindergarten teacher turned stay-at-home, home school mom to a smart, spunky, seven-year-old Ezekiel and a vocal, tenacious, two-year-old Adina. She, with her husband, BJ, and two children, resides in Kansas City, Kansas, just over an hour and half north of where she grew up. When she’s not taking care of or playing with her family, you can find her cooking, baking, gardening, camping, sewing, teaching Sunday school, and of course, paper crafting. Her love for stamping started, nearly ten years ago, at a Stampin’ Up workshop, but her love for creating began before birth. I had a hat fashion image from Coco - new site to me this one.  It is French - don't let that stop you rummaging about the images are super - the blog works just the same way as we are used to - just the language is different.  She has a really pretty 'swirly' style.  Perhaps it's me with my calligraphy pen - but I love curves and round shapes.

I printed the main image twice and layered up the hat part - and I printed a strip of smaller images to balance out the layout.  The beauty of digis - different sizes - same image.  The papers are just scraps that matched the design brief.
This a totally new look for me - and that's why I love challenges

So - your turn - get out the Coleman's - oh errr the mustard!

Yours
kitten xx

  2. Such a great card! First, I'm going to echo Denise, above, on the fact that I LOVE how you used different sizes of the image in one take. Second, I adore how you've framed the larger image. Those polka dots are fantastic! And third, thank you so much for having me as your GDT this week! I'm honored!
