I wanted to do something really different with this ghost from Stretch n BubblesHe's such a cutie it would be nice to use him more and I wanted to experiment with a bit of vellum.
I printed the image onto cream card - put some patterned vellum over it and drew round with a pencil to get the shape (some printer will print directly on velum but mine won't). Then I cut out the shape and stuck it on top of the ghost. I drew over the top with a black permanent marker and coloured the spots with silver gel.
You can't see the effect in the scan - but it is really pretty. The pattern on the vellum shows slightly over the ghost, and it's mat finish really contrasts with the bright silver gel.
