Alison is in the Christmas spirit and has created a new line of Christmas block images.  Be sure to visit all the Blogs so you can see all the images.  I have used the 'Holly' image.  Available from the Stretch N Bubbles Shop

One of the best things ever about digis is that you can alter the size of them so easily - by clicking on them, and then dragging the corner to the size you want - be sure to only use the corner icon and then you will keep the image in proportion.  I make these dinky little cards by reducing the holly image to about 3cm across and copying and pasting it 8 times to get what I needed.  This makes the images so versatile when you need to create loads of cards for your Christmas list - and you always get perfect results - unlike stamping where you get sore paws!

First - cut an A4 sheet of card into A5 - the again into A6 - and fold each piece in half - that makes an A7 size card - a really cutie little size

Then shrink and copy your image as you need it

Have a great time colouring it in.

I used Copic - YG09/07/06/23 for the holly - in a very loose 'scruffy' vein-ed way like you see them growing - and there is a good old solid red on the berries

The frame outline I did in a Pental Metallic pale green (lovely and shiny)

I added 3D glaze to the big berries - and tiny spots of red liquid pearls to the spots on the frame.

I cut close round the images and matted them with red.  Then I put them on raisers and added them over red and green strips on the cards.  The tiny little detail you can see in the bottom right is a punched holly leaf that I added with a tiny speckle of red liquid pearl for the berries.  Not sure if you can see it - but the Mirror red background card is embossed with tiny holly leaves - it is so pretty
Then I made some gift tags to match - with red satin ribbons.

To enter the hop competition - just post your comment here and a winner will be picked on Wednesday, September 1st, by Alison, the winner will receive the image I have used in my card (holly).  Leave comments on all the DT's posts along the hop and you can win each of  the images they used as well.  Once you have made your way through the hop, and left your comments you will be in the running for the overall blog hop prize - the entire set of Christmas Block images!  The draw will be done on Tuesday 1st, 9am US Central Time - and I will let you know here.

You next hop is Marcy, and we all hope you enjoy this little bit of Christmas cuteness.  Be sure to stop by the SNB Shop to see more of Alison's wonderful images.
